I am interested in raising golden hallcross chickens but can not find a breeder. Does anyone know of one?
Thanks

According to the internet, "Golden Halcross" is a cross, not a breed so there are no breeders. They're hybrids. If you breed a halcross to a halcross, you don't get another halcross you just get a mutt. What do you like about golden halcrosses? There must be a true breed out there that appeals to you as well.

Aren't they just red sex links? One is pretty much the same as another, IMO. Isa browns are slightly more productive if you get the true Isa, other than that they're all interchangeable.

Golden Hall is one of many labels under which some breeders market their Red Sex Links which are produced by crossing a red gene rooster (RIR in the case of the Golden Hall) with a silver gene hen (an RIW in the case of the Golden Hall). This same Red Sex Link cross is readily available under the labels Gold Sex Link, Gold Star, Cinnamon Queen, Bovans Brown, Golden Buff, and Golden Comet).

you are all correct, just looking to where I can purchase some golden hallcross, thanks
