Hi. My birds are about 10 weeks and I’m suspecting this one is a cockerel. Am I right? I’ve been trying to get good pictures of the little bugger, but you know how it goes. It’s a bit aggressive to the ladies, so I’ve been watching. Thanks.

Great. I had six silver laced cockerels a few years ago I had to give away. They were mean. Haha. We got an accidental freedom ranger rooster among our Easter Eggers in March. He’s not the most efficient rooster and is scared of everything. Huge fella. Should I cull him and keep this rooster? All the hens and pullets are hiding from him or getting up high so he can’t reach them. My husband named him Ipso Fatso 😜

I would definitely cull him. You want your girls laying eggs, not hiding from Ipso Fatso. You don't need the other either if you don't hatch chicks. Wait and see how he behaves.

I’ve been thinking the same. We have 7 old gals, 11 six month olds and ten 10 wheelers I’m getting 3-4 eggs a day. He’ll be our first sent to the freezer for us to eat I’d rather just have the eggs. Thanks, everyone!
