Any guesses as to what gender Chocolate is? I know the Polish breed is hard to determine until an egg or crow happens, but I’m curios because of personality. I really want Chocolate to be a pullet. :fl Thank you for your time!

There isn’t a crown! No feathers have been damaged.
There is one, but it is buried in the feathers, and it is different than the combs of most breeds. I'm attaching a picture of the comb on a full grown rooster, just so you know what it looks like. Yours is likely smaller, but if it isn't tiny and is red, then probably a cockerel.

Thanks for the picture! I’ll look again tomorrow. I’ve looked before and have seen nothing. Maybe I looked too soon.

Took a picture for you to see, but I couldn’t see anything resembling a comb to my knowledge which obviously isn’t very big. Lol.

And reading the comments above I am sorry if it came across that I was upset at you for thinking Chocolate was a cockerel. I am NOT and am very Thankful for your help!

No, I didn't take your comments that way at all. I just hoped it turned out to be a pullet because that's what most folks want :)

So, yes, the comb is pale and almost non-existent. The crest feathers still look pointed, like those of a cockerel, though. So I am a little stumped here, but would lean toward it being a cockerel. What age is this bird?
