Golden Laced Polish Gender?

No, I didn't take your comments that way at all. I just hoped it turned out to be a pullet because that's what most folks want

So, yes, the comb is pale and almost non-existent. The crest feathers still look pointed, like those of a cockerel, though. So I am a little stumped here, but would lean toward it being a cockerel. What age is this bird?

Hmmm. I thought it was a bit older than that. I just can't decide on this one, so maybe give it a couple more weeks. I am going to try to get the attention of some others to see if they have a better grasp on this bird than me.

This bird is a bit confusing. I would wait two weeks or so, and see if male feathering comes in.

It is! But Polish are notorious for that. Sometimes you don't know until they crow or lay an egg!

Will do, thank y’all so much! Is there specific feathering I need to be looking for other than the spikey head feathers? I know people look at the tail feathers but I don’t know why.

Look for narrow pointed saddle feathers, glossy feathers on the shoulders, wings, and back.

Kinda have the feeling it's a cockerel, honestly. I REALLY hope I'm wrong! Time will tell for sure.
