Golden Laced Polish, Pullet or Roo??

a cockerels saddles would just state to come in and should poke out in a week or 2. they will be long, slender, and pointed. a pullets saddle will have fat rounded feathers like the rest of the body (on my silver laced they are a good length you might be able to see them in my polish album maybe). hackles will look the same as the saddles.

Alright, got some face photos this morning. And a nice shot of the body feathers. It is almost 14 wks old now.

ya now i would say roo ..my polish is 10-12 weeks old and she has rounded crest feathers ... mine is a black white crested polish

No crowing yet! It is almost 16 wks now. I'm not even attempting to take pics of the face. The rain started today in Oregon, and all it's crest feathers look spikey! Face is still same color with same tiny bits of waddle, no growth. Here are a couple pics of the back.







hdowden, I looked at the pics in your silver lace polish album and the feathers on your pullet look similar. Maybe just wishful thinking

Hmmm. That tail is looking a lot more pulletish.

I think it looks like a pullet. I have a pair that are right about the same age as yours, and my boy looks totally different. He ended up getting these spiky comb type things in a good month ago.
