Golden Laced Polish, Pullet or Roo??

Well the one I had is at a friend's house but was hatched in March and still has not crowed or laid an egg.

Mine was a roo! So sad. The head feathers went nuts after week 12. And the dominant roo behavior kicked in.

Sounds like you're just going to have to be patient and hope it's a hen!

We have a Golden Laced Polish roo that doesn't crow unless the "ruler of the roost", our Sicilian Buttercup is out of sight. If that happens, then he crows like crazy...to match his crazy crest, I suppose.

Remember this pullet? Many thought she was a roo but she finally laid an egg.

I wanted one of these! I thought I had hen until she crowed the most pathetic crow you ever heard! So, Tina Turner had to go some where else as Tom Jones! I live in Central MN. If anyone has a Golden Laced Polish hen and does not want her. I will take her and give her a home at Happy Hens Resort!

Do you have any Sicilian Buttercup hens? I thought about ordering some chicks. I was afraid they maybe too skittish.

These are 6 weeks old. I'll try to get better pics, but does anyone want to take a guess at the gender of these? I'm thinking the center bird in each pic is a roo. I can live with one of each being a roo, but.....
