I had read that somewhere, but wasn't sure if anyone could tell at this age with all the feathers still coming in.It's hard to tell, but I'd guess it's a female... If you look at the top hat feathers, round feathers indicate a female, while sharp ones indicate a male.
I'll go back out this evening and get pics from those angles. I rehomed two roos that she has grown up with and she's a bit frantic right now, going to let her settle down a bit.If you can take a picture that shows just a few of the head feathers, or shows a few of the feathers on its back, like the ones below:

These would really be able to help see what the ends of the feathers look like, and give us a better idea of the gender...
