Hello all!

I just cannot seem to sex these golden laced chicks. I have my Brahmas and even my Cornish sexed but I need help on these! I have three chicks (all the same age, all the same size):

I am almost certain this is a boy. It has the reddest comb and the rump feathers are thin a graceful.

This "angel-winged" one has the thinnest comb and is pale. The rump feathers however, are only slightly blunter but I wonder if the wider color bands throw my visuals off. I suspect a girl.

Here is another pic with a better shot of the face:

For the last one, I'd say the comb is in between the other two for color but has the "bluntest" rump feathers, I think girl:

What do you all think?

Oh darn, the neighbors will love that, lol! May I ask how you both arrived to that conclusion? Is it their combs? Feathers? Both? Thanks!

Oh boy, those are 3 pretty little cockerels. You can easily tell by the rooster saddle feathers, and the comb is to red for a month old pullet.

At that age you can tell by looking at the hackle feathers. They get a sort of pin look to them, where they are sharper at the ends and the pullets hackle feathers have a more rounded look to them.
