Golden Laced Wyandotte chick-very small?

I got a mix of chicks on April 4th from Southern States. One was a GLW. I know for sure the other 6 were delivered on the Wednesday before so they were about 4-5 days old when we got them. The GLW was much smaller, so I assumed she was hatched later (the one lady said they had deliveries on Mondays but I'm not sure as that's the only person who said they were. The others said Wednesday's).

Anyone it's not April 15th and he other six are getting bigger and she is still pretty small. She has developed small wing feathers but nothing else yet while the others have lots coming in.

My question is-is she sick? Or are GLW just a slow growing breed? Assuming she is at least 11 days old but if delivered on the wens before she could be as old as 16 days old.

What should she look like at this age? I'm worried she isn't thriving

My GLWs are 12 days old and are about the same size. I don't know much about the breed yet; perhaps they are slower growing.

I created an account just to reply back! I've been lurking for over a year.

I searched this sight because I had the exact same question. My babies are about 3 weeks old and my GLW is TINY compared to my golden comet and Welsummer. She eats and she's the only one who's figured out that meal worms are AMAZING. I've seen her drinking and eating plenty. She is so small that she runs and hides under the other 2 chicks in the brooder.

I feel better now knowing that I'm not the only one with this concern. Thanks!
