Golden Laced Wyandotte hen or roo?

This is my first year raising chickens. I bought two Golden laced Wyandotte from TSC straight run. Can anyone tell if I have a hen or roo from the pictures I posted?Thanks.

Well it's not certain you are wrong yet, but the main things are that the second bird already has wattles and he doesn't have the even laced pattern of a pullet. Although these birds do look way off in color and color pattern for GLW, both have color patterns that suggest male to me in addition to the combs/wattles.

The color in laced birds give it away. Cockerels will have solid feathers on their upper wings and back. Where as pullets will have all laced feathers.

Agree, considering the patchy plumage, both look to be handsome cockerels.
