It has become obvious I am mistaken on the identification of a couple of my chicks. I was supposed to get from Meyer 3 Ameraucanas and 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte. I only have 1 that looks anything like the first photo. I thought she must be the GLW, but now I'm being told she is an Ameraucana. I have three that look very similar to the second photo, that I thought were the Ameraucanas. I know they truly are EE's, but is it possible that two EE's look that much different, or is photo 2 a different breed? Opinions please!

Hmmm...well, neither of them look like the glw chicks I have. The first one does look very EEish with it's cheek fuzz and the second one looks to have cheek fuzz too. Could you post pics of the other two?

My EEs usually, but not always have greenish legs. I am in the same predicament you are in. I cannot identify wether my two girls are GLW or EE, but I think EE. They look exactly like those two. And I have another one I can't figure out at all.

I received 2 GLW's and 1 Ameraucana about two weeks ago.
The top chick has the same Egyptian eyes as my Amer. and the dark stripe with a horseshoe of light around it that goes away.
The GLW's had the same pattern on the back at first.
Anywho, the bottom pictured chick doesn't look like either of mine.

Okay, I'm still confused and here are photos at 4 weeks. The first photo is the chick pictured in my first post. I'm now thinking she must be an Ameraucana. The second pic must be the GLW. But what breed are photos 3 and 4. I am supposed to have 2 EE's in addition to the first photo, but they sure look nothing alike.

No. 2 is your GLW.
The other 3 are EEs. Being a mix, the EE comes in all shapes & sizes with a rainbow of colors & can lay blue, green, pink, cream or brown eggs.
