Hi everyone, I’m just curious why this one chick looks so different from the other two. They should all look similar, yes?

Not necessarily, every chicken is an individual, with a slighty different look and develops at a different rate. :] However, that one's ears look strange, can you get better pictures of them?

Yes; sorry it’s a little blurry. I thought the ears look strange too. Is it not a GLW?

I find the ones with wider lacing so early are prone to have excessive gold vs the correct lacing. Most of mine had very thin lacing at that age. Some others have posted had the white speckling at the end of the feathers and I thought it was strange, but they ended up maturing correctly 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thank you! I guess I was starting to wonder if I had a rooster (or if the other two might be roosters). Or if some weren’t GLW at all. They’re all supposed to be GLW pullets, but they’re TSC. Haha

My “first” GLW pullets from TSC were broiler roos… To be fair I only asked for friendly chickens 😂 They were very sweet and once I started actually learning about chickens, we’ve been much happier with our TSC babies. My girls are still sad we couldn’t keep them and it’s been a year

Broiler Roos! 🤣 Although sad for the loss of sweet friendly birds. My TSC “Barred Rock pullet” has feathered legs and started crowing a while back. Please no more Roos!
