I have 5 GPHs I got from McM. They are supposed to be 2 guys and 3 gals. They are turning 10-weeks and still look the same. Is this normal? If so, when do the boys start getting the darker, richer red saddles and hackles? My son is supposed to have a trio out of these for this summer's 4-H show and I am getting a little concerned.
Thanks anyone who can help.

GPH baby feathers look like a bad female for both sexes as a rule. Not until they moult the baby feathers and start growing the first adult set will you see differences. By then you might already have a pretty good idea about who is who.

Thanks, I thought maybe they were just late blooming birds. I hardly see any difference in their combs either right now, and that was what was starting to concern me a little. There is one that I am pretty sure is a cockerel, but not a dominant one by any stretch.
Thanks again, folks.
