I have 17 five week old pullets of various breeds. The Golden Polish NEVER eats with the other pullets. She's healthy and of the proper size, but when new food is placed out, she runs around behind everyone and watches them eat.
She's not bullied, and I've caught her starting fights with other pullets.
Do I have a cockerel on my hands? The behavior is the Golden Polish with run from one side of the flock, to the other and watch everyone eat. I've never actually seen this particular chicken eat in the last 2 weeks, but checking it's eating sometime. There's always food available.
