I have a beautiful golden laced Wyandotte named chickpea she is just about 4 months old I was wondering when this breed starts laying eggs or crowing I am still unsure of my little chickpeas gender so your opinion on the gender of my chickpea would be great as well here are some pics

Pullet for sure.

Thank you I always tell chickpea that she’s my pretty little chicken :)
They go broody often, great breed for raising chicks. They have a reputation for being quite bullies in the flock, which is a great thing to have when raising chicks, they are such protective mamas.

Chickpea (love the name) looks pretty similar to my black laced red wyandotte, even has the funny bump on her comb. They really are such pretty hens!

Also, I have a blue laced red wyandotte and he is younger (3 months) than your Chickpea and has been crowing (rather pathetically) for about 2 weeks. He also has a much more substantial rose comb and wattles and has had them since about 6 weeks old.
