Hey Yall,
I feel like I already know the answer to this - but I would love to get your thoughts and feedback. I have 2 Buffs, both purchased at the same time from the local farm store. We have Meryl Peep and Goldie Hen:
Meryl
Goldie (or Kurt)
The comb/waddle on Goldie/Kurt is definitely larger as you can tell from the photos. However, they're about 6 weeks old and still no crowing from the they/them chicken, and he/she/it is also surprisingly...well....chicken. Scared of everything, which seems not very "rooster" like. What do you all think? I'd be bummed if I have to part with my gender-fluid family member, as I can't have roosters in the city for noise ordinance laws. Let me know if we have a Goldie or a Kurt!
