Goldilocks cannot walk~ shes 17/!Update. She's gone to Heaven.

Thankyou all for your goodwishes to Goldilocks.
I took her to another avian vet today who said it looks like Mareks or a kidney infection, He has given her antibiotic injection and said to give her 3 days to improve.
If no improvement ~ well Ill cross that bridge when it comes. Dont want to think about it right now, im still hoping for a miracle.
Ive had old chooks before, they usually die of old age and their legs go gnarly, however Goldi's legs look great except they wont stand up for her.
Shes inside wrapped in her blankey and has her head on her heat pad, she loves it.!!

Awwww.....what a beautiful friendship the two of you have. For her to not feel alone, to know her best buddy is on the case - I have no doubt this is a great comfort to her. And it sounds like she is at least physically comfortable while all this is going on.
Did the vet do an x-ray?
Did you get the impression that any attempt on her part to stand was painful in any way?
Ugh - what a mystery.
