does anybody know what the cross of a Goldaced orp cock crossed with a light sussex hen would give me? Thanks

A bird slightly reminiscent to poor quality Columbian coloration, like seen on Easter Eggers and hatchery Brahmas. They'll have lacing, but not much, (it may vary from bird to bird) - Otherwise the body will generally be the same as with shank color and the sort.

In most cases if not all, "Buff" Columbian has the same base as Gold Laced, so if you're working to expand the gold laced genepool by using Buff Sussex, that in my opinion is a great idea!

Well my cousin breeds orps aswell and were both hatching out a cross between a goldlaced cock and a buff hen. Mine have only just hatched 2 days ago, but his hatched out 5 months ago. Unfortunatly his were not the "buff columbian" we were expecting, they were buff with patches of lacing and black dots on the back.
