gonna be turkey owner soon!!! need lots of info...

for that many turkeys i would think bigger. My run is something like 15' x 15' for 13 chickens and 1 turkey... i can't imagine putting more than 3 turkeys in my run size...

@ pine roost it depends for heritige turkies it's too small but it is not for meat turkeys. Turkey hens should have about 200 sqaure feet during breeding season.

I know that bigger is always better, but what would be a comfortable enclosure for 20-25 turkeys?  20'x20' or bigger than that??

The minimal and I stress the word MINIMAL space allowance in a shelter for adult-sized turkeys is three square feet per bird. Will they free range at any time or will they be in their enclosure all day? Calculate that up for me for 25 turkeys and tell me what you get and let's go from there.

My pen is 12x30 and the turkeys will be able to free range for a few hours most days. All 20 will not grow into adults in the same pen, as I have takers for some once they get a few months old. Idealy, I would like to keep 3-4 Toms, and 5-6 hens. Bourbon Reds and Eastern Wild.
