Gonna pull my hair out, web help please?!

I've been down this road once before, i got so frustrated that i gave up... now there is a time crunch. I need a website for my stock before the end of august. Back in the day i had a completely serviceable one at tripod... it was literally point and click. you made your own links, dropped pictures and text where ever you wanted it, all that fun stuff. and best of all each page could look a wee bit different... Also it was free (i need free...).

Everyone i try now is all pre templated, i hate the templates and the layouts aren't allowing me to do what i want... help! is there any more simple point and click free sites out there anymore?

I hate to break it to you, but all the free sites have gone to template based and they are just a mess to work with. The best you can do, hoping you have web knowledge, is register a domain name through someplace like GoDaddy and borrow pieces of templates and right your own.
