I am about to start my first hatch and would like to read up on things that can go wrong (or right) beforehand. I am sure we have some very experienced folks on here who have read everything on the subject.

I would like to ask which book or informational website would be the best to start with. It should have the basics, but also some information on what can go wrong and how to remedy it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My favorite is the Hatching Eggs 101 article by "Sally Sunshine" in the BYC Learning Center. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101 it covers the basics but it goes into a lot of detail and there are also a ton of links in the article to other articles, papers etc, it takes about a week to read through the whole thing :)
