A lot of folks here recall the same memories and lifestyle (and some are living it now). Welcome to BYC.

Hi Boppo,
I have 9 hens 6 Buff Orbington's and 3 Bar Rocks about 1-1/2 years old. Now the neighbor has Buff Orbington's and 1 of her hens hatched chick's under a parked truck in their field. Now I have 6 more about 3-1/2 weeks old and no one wants them and they are getting big fast. They are in a baby's play pen with a blanket cover or they would fly out. Have to make a place out in the chicken coop for them soon, like now and supply some heat for them.
