I went to a sale the other week, and got this older GFQ for $25.00. I figured it might not work, but after bringing it home and plugging it in it works just fine. I'm in the process of cleaning and sterilizing it so that I can use it. Now I can just use my Sportsman to incubate, and this one to hatch

I took all the hatching trays out to clean them, but here is a picture:

great find, but is the partial board serounding the hatcher or is it the main walls, if its the main its not GQF, but the parts might be. GQF paints there 'bators gold/yellow

Buck Creek Chickens ~ Are you sure? this is a 1250 which is no longer made, it has a metal tag on it from GQF. Either way it works, and will do the job. I know my newer Sportsman is yellow, but I thought maybe that was a new thing..

I think it is a real GQF. I have seen a couple other old models that were particle board. Either way, that was a great deal!

Wow. I am so happy for you. BTW - your old hovabator is presently stuffed with eggs! So many, I took out the turner and am turning by hand. lol

Let us know how it does
