I just checked my 3 eggs which are under a broody silky. These are Copper Marans eggs and I have not tried to candle them or have not handled them. I have left everything up to mother nature. Up until now. I was getting the water and feed ready for the babies which are supposed to hatch tomorrow and I slightly moved the eggs a little and upon doing so I noticed that one of them felt very light compared to the other 2. What could this mean? It almost felt like it was hollow. Is this normal or do you think it dried up, why would the other 2 feel heavier? I don't really want to mess with them. I did notice some dried wood shaving crusted on the shell. Maybe it cracked and everything leaked out. What should I do?
