So... yesterday I put my 9 18-week Americana hens with the rest of my flock. It is going okay, there hasn't been any blood drawn but a few of the older hens were going after the new ones even when they were minding their own business. I just wanted to make this post to get some positive feedback because I feel like the younger hens are really stressed and that I'm hurting them. It's nice though when I go into the coop to check on them all of the Americana hens cuddle me and love being pet/

It's normal, and the fact that no one has been hurt means it's going well.

Make sure you have plenty of hiding places for the younger birds where they can't be cornered, and multiple feeders so the older birds can't guard all the food.
