I am hatching 14 bcm. This is my 3rd try and I just got this new incubator that makes it dummy proof for me. Hopefully the electricity stays on and I finally hatch something this time.

Nice good luck with your hatch . Those look like nice dark eggs. Have you hatched any from your other attempts , Mail order eggs can be risky but your bator should help if they are shipped eggs. I've herd that BCM eggs are a little tougher to hatch than other breeds , your humidity seems a little high ? I thought you want to be around 30%- 35% till lockdown ? but Im just a newbie lol . Have a blessed day.

My first attempt was cuckoo marans in a lg incubator from the tsc. They all died early on and never hatched but one. It was late and I cracked it open because I had given up. It died the next day. I have 18 lav orphingtons in the lg shut up in the linen closet now. The power went out for 22 hrs on day 15. I don't know if any of them will hatch, but I know they will be late so maybe the middle of the week. Now I am trying my luck with the bcm. I lowered the humidity to 40% but I don't know anything about hatching them. The incubator can pre-set to 45%. If anyone else knows more please tell. They were all shipped eggs except for the cuckoo marans.
