5 wellies and red golden pheasants. I am pretty excited about the wheatens and bwamm. These were eggs from birds hatched form eggs purchased from PasoFino farms by a coworker last year or year before. I have tried to hatch bwa twice this spring to no avail, and with the price they have been of late, have passed on them. I am not to wild about tying to hatch 300.00 eggs

Count me in also. I set some duck eggs last Friday in my old Hovabator. So on Good Friday I finished stuffing it with chicken eggs. I will need to do a count and take a picture tomorrow.

Nice eggs kfs59 some real dark ones in there are the darkest ones BCM or welsumers. And I don't see how that turner can work overloaded like that lol hope you got it figured out .

Wow. I see you have frizzles! I want some so bad, but I don't know in what pen to keep them... Silkie pen, or polish pen?

Providing my hatch goes well they will be in the silkie pen )

I am curious about the turners too. Will they still turn if you double stack them? Will it burn the motor out?

Also i am doing a staggered hatch. I have a LG still air and the automatic turner. Is it possible to remove a couple of rows of eggs from the turner... ..... as in pop them out were a few rows of eggs can turn and the ones on lockdown can like on the mesh?

I am new to this and haven't quite figured out how to do the staggered ones yet.

A friend at work said that she never turns her turner off for lockdown. Has anyone else tried this?

Oh, I didnt think about that. I certainly don't want squished chicks. I am going to turn it off and hope for the best. The others will be not too far behind so I am hoping the not turning won't hurt them.
