Actually, I think you just set good eggs, which is 99.9215% of the incubation equation.
What happens next is way more complicated, so I wish you luck.

Sorry for the long wait!

There are now 56 quail, only one of which appears to be weak. All the rest are healthy, active, and growing already!

I am just IN LOVE with the colors I got.

I will be buying from you again, shelley! I can hardly wait until next year, when I get my cabinet incubator! Also have plans for another quail set up, very excited!!!

Already have requests for quail chicks, and I can hardly wait to butcher my first set. (None of the pretty hens though)

Ah, red golden! I was calling them chocolates lol. There are quite a few of those, some darker than others.

GORGEOUS! I can't make up my mind whether I like them more than the goldens, which have been my favorites until now.

The darker ones are probably rosettas, but that one looks like a red-golden.
ETA: Or they could be dark tibetans.

So confusing! I'm just learning these quail colors. My last batch were all either goldens or A & M's.

Perhaps I'll post pictures of my "keepers" in a few weeks and get all the names for them squared away.
