Hello,

I'm a newbie to BYC but have been involved with chickens for approx. 3 years now. I'm commenting on your thread because you mentioned you would soon be moving to Yadkinville. I'm within 5 miles of Yadkin County. There are several chicken lovers in the surrounding area as I'm founding out. We have a Tractor Supply close by as well as a feed store there in Yadkinville.
I personally have bantams with the exception of 3 standard Polish and new chicks with more on the way. I do plan to hopefully soon switch to bantam Polish and my friend plans to take over the Standards.
Looking forward to chatting with others from NC and educating myself further since my mother has an incubator now.

Once I figure out this Windows 8 and how to get pics on here after I lost all mine from pc crash I will post some.
