Thought it about time I said hello. I've been stalking/gaining much helpful information for the past few weeks (since becoming Mum to 3 sister Rhodies, which has subsequently turned to 5 girls) ;)

So here I am, I'm Stacie. My husband persuaded me fresh eggs would be a better option and the boys would enjoy the egg collecting experience. So off we started, 3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 impeccably behaved 18 week old sister's. And I was hooked, we now have a white star and a black rock (so I was told - would appreciate guidance on their breeds please?)

I've taken role as chief chicken owner in the household. Also chief bullmastiff, cat, rabbit and goldfish owner. I've personally built the runs, painted the coop and even made a handmade coop sign.

It's safe to say I'm hooked on hens :D

Looking forward to meeting you all, and much more advice and guidance over time

Stacie x

Welcome to the flock. How very nice to meet you. Have you visited the Learning Center, it's a great place to start. Then branch out to forums that interest you.

Welcome Stacie! I'm more of the house chicken type, but I have had a huge selection of chickens in the past!

Right above your Threads name is a long white box with a black arrow. Click on that black arrow and a whole selection of Threads will slide down. Have fun selecting where you want to go!
