It's better to collect them every day... so you know how many are laying.... you know the fresh eggs the older eggs... and you prevent one of the hens go broody and then the eggs develop embryos.. and by accident you may kill them by collecting them late... even one or two days of incubation is enough time for chicks to develop... and if you don't have a roo the eggs will rotten... or maybe rats will come at night and snap your eggs.... but eggs can stay about 20-30 day normal at room temperature. ...
