Our deed restriction is no pigs or chain link fences. And our township says I can have animals on less than 5 acres as long as they are not for commercial purposes. I checked with the dudes in charge just in case my neighbors decided to put up a stink. I'm not anticipating too much trouble though. We live in a rural village so there are lots of people with animals, including the folks across the street (each of them have 15 acres...lucky ducks!) with horses!
