I have 20 chickens, 2older RIR, 9 mixed breed, 9 buff orpingtons. We have had chickens for a few years, and are just starting with runner ducks. I have 2 black runner ducks Mr. Drake and Rebeka, I have 4 eggs in out homemade incubator that I hope hatch on the 1st or 2nd of July. I am glad to be part of a community that likes chickens and ducks as much as I do. Looking forward to getting to know you!

Do you have an pictures of your incubator? I'm interested in trying my hand at hatching some TJ eggs, but I can't get the temperature to stay consistent in my homemade incubator. Hoping your chicks are a success!

Drunkenpony I keep 4 covered jars of water in the bottom on the side with the light bulb. It is a cooler with a light bulb on the short end. It is against a wall with no furnace vents or windows near it, I'm not sure if this helps. Good luck and thank you for the welcome.
