Hey all. Was just thinking about all the stuff that's been happening lately in the world and thought we could all use a positive thread to talk about positive things.

So feel free to post here about good things that have happened to you, or just in general!
Hopefully everyone can look back at all the stories/posts when they're sad and have a little light in their lives.

Well, this seems mighty little in the grand scheme of things, but ...

I have been trying to get my acreage cleaned up, there's a lot of unnecessary junk that has accumulated over the years, as well as some that came with the property. When I went out to the road to get the mail Monday, a man I didn't know was parked there and began waving.

As it turned out, he is a friend of a friend who is spending his retirement years collecting and selling scrap metal. He is not only hauling off several dead vehicles, riding mowers and other large items, he is giving me CASH to get rid of things I thought I was going to have to pay someone to take. Good news for me, indeed!
