Good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So our chicks are 17 days old and one of our chicks has been having lots of problems growing and going to the bathroom. She's about half the size of the others and she was constipated from not drinking enough(?). So yesterday it occurred to me that a lot of people who have chicks that have pasty butt would change their feed and the problem would be fixed most of the time. So I figured that our problem was close enough to that that we should try it. We did and today she's not crying anymore, so much more perky, and is drinking more!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh now she's not doing so hot... She was doing well for a day or two but now she's "trilling" and struggling when she poops again...

I read on another thread about pasty but that you can use molases in the drinking water for constipation.
