This is my old chicken named penny she had been attacking by a hawk and had her stomach opened we kept her inside and she recovered and survived she was always smallee then the others and lived 3 years before something else got her

Ohh no so sorry, at least she survived the hawk attack, it is very unlikely for chickens to heal from that. You got a good life out of her!!

Yeah she was a good chicken in a matter of a fact the last one who surevied the coyotes moving in she was a strong little thing and hopefully when I get more chickens they will be like how she was

It seems you always love most the ones that almost didn't make it. I am sorry for your loss and know I will be devastated when my Honey, the lone survivor of a mink attack to a coop, finally leaves us. But you gave your girl a good life to the end, and I know chickens are smart enough to appreciate that.
