Good possible hatch rate?

Hello Its my first time incubating, its day 14 I just candled them, 5 out of 10 had chicks, is that a good amount?

As of now you are dealing with a fertility and development rate. If the eggs were from my own flock. Using a known reliable incubator. I would be very disappointed and concerned at a 50% development rate. Seeing how this is your first attempt. Without knowing if you have been fighting an incubator with fluctuating temps and humidity. Trying to hatch shipped eggs. 50% fertility and development would be acceptable. If you get the remaining eggs through the next 7 days. A 50% hatch rate is pretty good for the first time hatching.
