An elderly friend of mine came home last weekend to about 10 or so chicks from her peafowl. Can you give me a fair price for her to sell them for? She is overun as it is and sure doesn't want to keep them.

NO! Suggest $5.00 & then give me her phone number!!!

Kidding...
DH says I can't have any. He thinks they are too loud.

They are too loud. OH, how i wish I lived on a farm.

I would love to have some, they are sooo beautiful. I'm plotting to order some eggs & be really really surprised when it turns out to be a peafowl. I'll just shrug and say the shipper must have mixed up my order with someone else's.
I'm doing my best to turn this place into a farm...but DH says no goats, no peafowl, no pigs, no guineas (sp?)...and I've tricked him into saying yes to a duck.
I told him I wanted a Muscovy, & it thrives off bugs. He assumed it was a breed of chicken, so he said yes.

If she has peach, bronze, midnights, silver pieds. Those are worth alot more, like peach I think are still selling for 200.00 per pair(3 month old peachicks) peach males more than peach females.

More common colors are blues,whites,blackshoulders(blue)
White sell good, but just a little more than normal blues.
