Good Quality Stock

I'm looking to buy some good quality chicks next spring....I want to get a few different breeds and keep them seperated so one day i'll get fresh, pure hatching eggs available for sale. I know a lot of people dont want to buy eggs from chickens that came from a hatchery. Is there any hatchery that sells some good quality chicks or am i better off buying hatching eggs from someone with a good stock here on BYC...?

I f you have an incubato your best bet is right here, chicks, is there anyone local so you can see the parents plus what are you looking for, that also makes a difference where you go

Yeah thats what i thought...the shipping on eggs adds up fast though...guess i'll start saving now and maybe i'll go to a chicken swap
