My son just learned the facts of life and is very curious about rooster anatomy. Obviously I don't want to google certain words. Does anyone have a link to a child friendly site that explains the mechanics of chicken mating?

Depending on the age of your son, he might enjoy Home to Roost: A Backyard Farmer Chases Chickens Through the Ages By Bob Sheasley.
I found it a pleasant read, but probably suitable for someone with 7th grade reading skills. Because the book often has historical references that the author compares to our modern studies. I enjoyed it, and it would give you the info you wish.
