What a beautiful coop and what a sad story. I'm sure she'll have a bittersweet relationship with that structure. Having just finished a structure that has four walls, with more or less 90 degree angles and a sloping shed roof, I can't imagine the precision that went into all those angles! Beautiful! I wish we could see the inside!
