good time?

okay, i have soem chickens, iu ave had them fensed in for about 5 days now, and they have been able to go in their coop at night and get locked up at night

when would be a good time to open the pen and let hem roam freely around the yard? Will they come back?

I would just start with letting them out for an hour or 2 before dusk. They will probably all march right back in on their own now that they know that is home. See If that works ok for a couple of days then go from there. Also are they laying yet? If they are I would leave them in for a few hours in the morning. But once they know where to lay and roost then its usually not a prob.
