Bator has been set for two days and it's holding steady at 99 degrees and 22-35% humidity.

So I'm looking to set on the 7th, just 4-8 eggs.

sounds good! I would have a higher humidity but that is just me.... Humidity is a highly debated topic in hatching.

I saw a few posts about keeping it low during the first 18 days and then upping it for the last 3 to 60+%

Oh good! I'm hoping to get get some breed variety from some locals. I would love some EEs, welsummers and marans.

Yes Humidity is a high debate so just know some go "dry" (lower then 40%) to start and up to 65% to finish.
Some go 65% to start then 85% to finish
Some do 65% through the whole thing....
I go with 50%-65% to start and 65%-75% to finish....

Watch the eggs... if they start to lose water to fast (air bubble gets to large to fast) then you will need to up humidity.

I think the humidity is all based on peoples area that they live in. so it is subject to much variations.
