Goodbye phone, I knew you well...

Uh...only if it is used right.

Off counters. Slipping out of the.car door pocket. Left in the sun (doesnt melt). Held up to abuse pretty well. But lawn mowers running over it twice, not so much.

You need to warn a person when writing such. Taking a drink of water while reading nearly caused another accident....still laughing.....

Sorry about your phone.

My daughter ruined hers over the weekend when a big wave came up at the beach and swamped it. We tried the rice trick, but it didn't work.

That is what my phone looked like a few months ago, when I ran over it with the lawn mower. I only had it for a week, and it had a smooth cover, that slips out of my pant leg pocket very easily when I sit down. I noticed that it was missing from my pocket, when I was almost done mowing. I saw 2 of my sisters outside, so I mowed over to them and asked them if they could help me find my phone in a 2 acre yard, I looked down and there in a billions of billions of pieces is my phone.

So, while I was finishing mowing[ It was getting dark], my sisters picked up the pieces, and gave the pieces to my mom. My mom told me that the phone was making a noise like it was dying.

For the next couple weeks, I kept finding pieces of my phone as far as 40 feet from where it was chopped up.

I got a new phone in a week later that has a rubber cover, so it will NOT slip out of my pocket.

My cover was thick rubber too, and being lime green easy to identify and see in dark purses. Good news was that Ive had the same phone company since the.Flintstones were neighbors w/Adam and Eve. I bought the phone as an upgrade. First generation of iphone when eveyone was turning their noses up at such antiques. Cost me like under 50bucks. Kept it forever, but worked better than the previous blackberry. Was slow once the 4G flooded the market, but hey, didnt mind that. When i went to walmart to check out their phones (far cheaper than going directly through the company, or online/best buy/costco) had to be very patient with poor service. Their was only one person in front of me whom had to call for a rep after waiting over half an hour. I waited nearly an hour after that. Whenever I asked him questions he'd tip his screen backwards annd upside down for me to try to veiw content. Never asked me about changing or upgrading info including changes of data plans. When i HAD to ask him about the upgrade and was told that he couldnt do it because he wasnt qualified to do that, i had to wait until the next day when the superviser came in, i requested an immediate face to face with he manager. The manager informed me it was his second day at work and he had no clue. They spent lots of time on the phone. Ended up with me getting credit the following day, so 600 dollar phone ended up costing me 32 bucks. Same plan payment, but upgraded.

You can repair that. Just needs some buffing out. some glue here, some tape there.duct tape repairs all. A turn of a wrench there, a twist of a screw here, some wax and walaah!!

I was able to get a upgrade too, the new phone without the upgrade would have cost me 300 bucks!

I paid 100 bucks for it, and like it very much!

Its a military type of a phone, if I drop it in the water, it will work, tough on impact. I can hear well on it too, I was born deaf, and can hear from both side with an aid of bilateral cochlear implant.
