Goodbye Picnik :'(

Gimp is probably what I will switch to as well.

I realize google+ is a social site which is exactly why I shy away from it!

I just want to edit pictures, not find friends and share with them and blah blah blah!

I loved the advanced settings on picnik which so far are not on g+'s creative kit.

Really I just wanted to whine.

It's like the same feeling as starbucks shutting down your favorite coffee dive.

That's exactly how I feel! G+ is so much like Facebook, and I don't like FB, so why would I want G+?

CluckyJay, thanks for sharing about Gimp. I'm going to have to check it out.

I haven't been following this thread but I use gimp a lot. Seems like a lot of the animation on my website was done with it an here is two new things I made this month with it for some disability related websites i am working on...

WHAT? Picnik? gone?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Picnik is my life! I love it so much! RIP Picnik...

Show me an article where it said they were getting rid of picnik? So far I just see a bunch of people whining about something that they might be confused about. If a company buys another company it does not mean they are getting rid of it because that would be completely pointless in buying it the first place.
