so we had 6 roos and now we have none!

glad to see and hear they are still yummy. I just hatched a few ameracauna's and the roos (will all but one) will go. I was worried they'd almost be too small to be worth it.
 
these guys were 25ish weeks. they took a long time to start to crow i have some pretty dominate hens but once they were bigger they took right to being noisy as they could hahah some were smaller then others but they were all a pretty good size for birds not really ment for meat
 
Great plucking job! By hand I assume. When was the harvest and when was your first meal? Curious, as the "normal" banter here is that the boys would be tough to roast..... Thanks, and whoever is in that oven sure looks good... Not as good as in the cage, but good nonetheless!

yeah it was by hand they were still young if you ask me the hens i have with them do not even lay yet it was actually very moist but we did eat one about 5 hrs after so it was nice and fresh!
