I usually say' "Girl, if you would quit eating so much you would be able to get your old butt up on that roost a lot easier".... Wait, that is what I say to myself, you were asking about the chickens - weren't you?

At night, I sing my "Good night chickens" song. In the morning, I sing my "Good morning chickens" song. When I bring out a treat, I sing my "Momma's bringing chickie snack" song.

Sometimes I sing other songs to them too. Like this, when I was waiting for the first egg:

I wanna hear the egg song,
What a happy thing!
I wanna hear the egg song,
Won't you let me hear you sing?
I wanna hear the egg song,
I want my girls to lay.
I wanna hear the egg song,
Sometime today.
