Have 3 laying boxes for 5 chikens...of course they all lay in one. These silly girls are great at laying but they seem to hate having anything in the box to lay on (and keep eggs clean) have hay in and they all go thru it and throw it out...put weeds, herbs etc etc...they still throw everything out!! any suggestions or shall I just leave them...5 of them give me 5 eggs a day!

I use straw and have 3" border to keep in the straw in.
I have comets too and my girls take straw from neighbouring box and put it into the box they're in. GC
