If you have a Google account, log out - the order of your results will change surprisingly!

It makes it difficult for website owner to figure out how well their sites are doing in search. You can be smugly sure you're number one in everything, but it turns out Google is just helpfully showing the sites you visit a lot

I use mozillas "private browsing" option to when I need less personalized results like when I an looking at my websites placement.

It changes a lot but BYC still shows high.

Yep, that's how I came to know this site before I joined. I was researching killdeer and ducks and this site always had great info. So, I thought I'd join even though I still don't own any ducks, yet.

Now, if I can get my own articles and photos that I post online for pay to get top billing on Google, that would be great!

I have 147,611 inbound links known to Google an that has got my site as a whole high enough to get me 320 clicks a month coming in from Google search.

That has got me to the point of breaking even on the website each month. Maybe in a few years I can talk profit.
