Hey folks,
I’ve got a sweet little belefielder that I believe was attacked by a jealous goose. I found her last evening waddling like a duck or a penguin. A pretty good bite out her lower back. Last night I gave her a long Epson salt bath and she slept really well. Today still waddling. I’m hoping she isn’t egg bound and that’s why she didn’t or couldn’t run away from the goose. She is waddling around and her spirit is good. Just wondering about damage. Can’t seem to straiten up. Thanks

Hard to know if her stance is due to injury or if she's having trouble with an egg. IF she didn't have injury, just the photo of her standing says to me "trouble with egg".
I would offer her some Calcium with D3. 1 Tablet a day for a few days.

Wound looks ok, I would just tend to it daily.

How old is your little hen? Sorry about her injury. Does she normally lay eggs? Hopefully, with the vitamin D and some TLC she will get better. Chlorhexidene is very good to clean the wound, and follow up with plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment.
